Hearing God’s Call

Listen. Discern. Obey.

Who we are

Hearing God’s Call is a Christian devotional website operated from South Carolina, United States. This policy describes information handled through hearinggodscall.com and our ministry contact email. Last updated: October 26, 2026.

Information used to run this website

GoDaddy hosts this WordPress website. Delivering pages and protecting the service can involve technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, and access times. Our hosting provider may process this information for website operation, security and maintenance. See GoDaddy’s Privacy Notice for its practices.

Hosting measurement and cookies

A GoDaddy measurement script loads on this website. GoDaddy describes its Real User Metrics service as measuring performance, including connection and page-load times. GoDaddy states that its RUM service does not collect user information. This statement concerns RUM specifically; website access logs and email correspondence are described separately in this policy. See GoDaddy’s explanation of hosting measurement.

WordPress uses cookies for administrator sign-in and preferences. Reading our devotionals does not require an account. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may affect sign-in or other functions. Browser controls do not necessarily prevent all server-side logging.

When you email us

If you email hearinggodscall@gmail.com, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message and any attachments. We use this information to handle your inquiry and related follow-up. Our mailbox is provided by Google’s Gmail service; see Google’s Privacy Policy. Please share only what is needed for your inquiry and avoid sending sensitive personal information. The ministry does not currently offer a prayer-request intake service.

Comments and other features

Comments are closed on our current devotional articles. We do not currently offer newsletter signup, public account registration, online purchases or a prayer-request form on our ministry pages. If we introduce features that collect information, we will review and update this policy.

Links to other websites

Our pages link to BibleGateway and social media platforms. Following those links takes you to services with their own information practices and privacy policies. A link alone is different from an embedded service that loads within our page. Information you share directly on those services is governed by their policies.

Service providers and disclosure

GoDaddy and Google process information in connection with hosting and email services. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law or to address security incidents. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, under their applicable terms and privacy practices.

How long information is kept

There is currently no site-wide automatic deletion schedule configured in WordPress. Records remain until removed or until the relevant service’s deletion process applies. Email correspondence can remain in the ministry mailbox until deleted. Our hosting account is configured to archive access logs after daily processing and remove the previous month’s archived logs at the end of each month. This is a monthly cleanup setting, not a fixed 30-day retention promise. Automated hosting backups are enabled. Backup copies and RUM records follow GoDaddy’s applicable service arrangements; no single verified retention period covers all of these records. Deleting a record from the active website or mailbox does not necessarily remove provider backups immediately.

You may contact us to ask about information associated with you or request its deletion. We will consider the request, any applicable legal requirements, and information that must be retained for security or legal reasons. We may need reasonable information to verify a request before disclosing or deleting records.

Privacy questions and requests

Email hearinggodscall@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests to access, correct or delete personal information associated with you. Please describe the request without including unnecessary sensitive information. The rights available to you may depend on the laws that apply to your circumstances.

Changes to this policy

We will revise this page as our website and information practices change and update the date shown above.
